Another great rotation Gerard! In my entire collection of designer and niche- Nautica voyage is the wife’s favorite. 😂. Le male Le parfum is a masterpiece. I actually love the original for that very reason. When I first got into this, I tried a sample of Le male edt and thought “how original” because I never smelled anything like it. So I enjoy it for that.

Although I dont own any JPG frags, I am sure they are great.. because I love Afnan 9pm, which is the JPG ultramale dupe, and it smells amazing. Lately, I've been reaching for citrus frags like Banana Republic 78 Vintage green, Ralph & Lauren Big pony 1, CK All, Montblanc Starwalker, L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme Issey Miyake, Canyon Sky For Him Hollister, Dior Homme Cologne 2013 edition (This smells amazing... it performs really well for fresh fragrance)

I think the emphasis on performance is quite overrated - it depends on the function of the fragrance. If I’m going out for only 3-4 hours then there’s no real upside in me wearing a scent that lasts 8+ hours. I usually break up fragrances by function & use purpose

Performance is absolutely a deal breaker, especially when something pricey doesn't last on your skin. I just got Michael Malul's Ocean Noir and it's the worst as far as performance. So disappointed in this one.

I grab myself a D&G Beauty of capri, and it smells like the OG but better, strong citrus scent, rounded by cedar and vetiver, very good and 4 to 5 hours scent, in a hot weather, Another one on the rotation was The Immencity whos cloning L'Inmensite by Lv, strong ginger and grapefruit scent, also amazing for the hot days.

I'm big on performance. I can LOVE a scent - like North Stag IV (the orange one)- it has the most amazing photo realistic mandarin scent.. But if the performance sucks - like North Stag IV- it sits in the display and I'll check it once a year to see if it's ready to come and play on my terms... I hate reapplying. I need a good 6-7 hours before I consider a fragrance worth it, but I'll wear the 10 hour scents more often.

Voyage first fragrance I bought myself early to mid 2000s recently wore again and it really is so good better performance than I remember too 5 sprays and I was still smelling it 5-6 hours later

Montblanc Legend Spirit, Tested Calvin Klein Eternity Aromatic Essence which I really enjoyed! Fresh, masculine with a hint of creamy coconut. Great summer fragrance!

I much prefer Le Beau EDT to the Le Parfum as well. It’s just got that magic. Le Male Le Parfum over Elixir for me as well. In no particular order I wore ADG Absolu and Profondo, Le Beau X2, Coach Platinum, Invictus Legend, and I think Coral Fantasy when it was off and on raining one day.

CAHSEE is one of my favorites in my collection. Performs very well on me as well. Work trip last week, all I too was Dior Homme Sport. Have a great week!!

I recently picked up a used sample set from Pineward for cheap, they're an indie brand that focuses on the note of pine! I love most of the frags I've smelled so far, but they are suuuuuuper expensive. ~$200 for a 57ml, I haven't seen any of them on any discounters sadly. They're all beast mode so far, I've smelled them pretty strongly 12+ hours later! This is with 1-2 sprays from the sample vials, the strength of these frags is insane. Anyways, some of the highlights so far: Christmas Wine: Super brisk and fruity fresh, it perfectly captures the smell of a Christmas wreath with warm, scented candles around. I always had wreaths during Christmas time, and this frag brings me back to my childhood. Fanghorn II: The best and most photorealistic green pine forest fragrance I've ever smelled to date. I'm immediately taken back to my hikes in the forests: there's tan pine needles all over the ground, you have to watch your step, otherwise you might trip on a root. No civilization in sight, trees and the sound of birds all around. Easily my favorite one so far. Chandlery: Beeswax and vanilla make for the most photorealistic candle smell I've gotten in a frag. Rich, waxy, thick, and sweet, this is a grandma's home. Warm, comforting, but a bit overwhelming for me. The waxiness and sweetness kind of filled the room with the few sprays I used.

Chanel Allure Homme Sport Extreme is in my list. JPG Le Beau EDP was headache inducing to me. Le Male Elixir and Le Parfum left the collection. I just kept a 10ml decant of Le Parfum and that’s good enough. JPG Pride…. That’s another story… different and refreshing. Traveling time for me. I only carried a few decants/samples. I absolutely love Le Male Le Parfum. Also, I got the opportunity to get a sample of Ganymede and it’s so unique. At first I didn’t know what to think but then as the day went on and I caught it in the air while I was down by the Hudson River I really liked it. I already saw your video on it but I was curious if your impression’s changed at all.

Don’t get the hype with AHSE, I’m soon down a 100ml bottle. It just doesn’t last for me, never received a compliment which is a little bit disappointing for me personally 😳.
